Dress Like a TOKYO Girl "Gingham"

While I am still loving my classic stripe tshirt, the new Spring and Summer trend "Gingham prints" might replace my-go-to outfit.
Thanks to the Derek Lam runway, Gingham prints are the rising trend for this season.

Tokyo is no exception.
Yes, Tokyo is officially crazy about Gingham prints.
The trend this spring in Tokyo is anything with Gingham prints : Gingham prints can be seen everywhere, from store window displays to fashion on the streets.

While Dorothy's blue Gingham dress in the "Wizard of OZ"  should be reserved only for Halloween, Black and White Gingham print is one of the easiest prints to wear from weekday to weekends.
Do you want to know how Tokyo girls wear Gingham prints? See below!

Sample Outfit "Shopping in HARAJUKU"

Gingham pants & Off Shoulder tops

Go shopping in Harajuku by pairing Gingham skinny jeans with an off-shoulder crop top. A leather clutch bag is the perfect match for this simple outfit, and heart-shaped sunglasses add a cheerful pop of color. Lastly, finish the look off with a pair of black leather pumps.

Sample Outfit "Picnic under the Sakura Tree"

Gingham dress & Cardigan

For a "KAWAII" springtime look, pair the Gingham dress with a Sakura (Cherry blossom) colored cardigan. Classic converse keeps things comfy and cute for a picnic under the Sakura trees.

Your thoughts?
